SailQuest to be held May 18-20, 2012 Bridgeport, CT - (February 22, 2012) SailQuest Boat Show will take place at Milford Lisman Landing Marina in Milford, Connecticut from May 18-20, 2012. This unique and family-oriented show will feature new sailboats, trawlers, downeast-style powerboats and select brokerage yachts for sale, from 20 to over 50 feet long. Additionally, a variety of companies will be on-site offering small boats, gear and other products and services, including financing and insurance. Attendees will be able to take advantage of daily introduction-to-sailing opportunities, including sailing trips with certified instructors. Previously held in Mystic Connecticut, the show has relocated to a more central spot on the Connecticut coast minutes from I-95 and the Merritt Parkway, steps from Metro North Railroad and directly on Long Island Sound. The show offers free parking and free admission! “Today's marketplace is shifting focus towards smaller boutique type shows that benefits both consumers and dealers. A sales-driven agenda coupled with low show overhead allows not only for free admission to show goers, but also gives dealers incentive to provide outstanding pre- season deals on their inventory. Buyers can literally save thousands on their next boat,” said Rick Dieterich from Springline Yacht Sales. The docks at Milford Landing will showcase a wide range of models from quality manufacturers, including: Cutwater, Catalina, Hanse, Jeanneau, Island Packet, Hunter, Lagoon, Beneteau, J Boats, Minor Offshore, Nordic Tug, Ranger Tug and more to be announced. “SailQuest Boat Show is the perfect place for families to spend the day and kick off the boating season,” notes Anne Hannan of WindCheck Magazine. Milford Lisman Landing is located in beautiful historic downtown Milford, which is filled with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Come to SailQuest and find your future in boating!
