Security in Guatemala, Belize and Honduras

Any experiences out there, lately?

Spent last spring in Bay islands from Bocas del Toro, Panama. Boat is up the Rio Dulce on the hard now. We return end of December.
Did not make it to Belize, but the nets talked about not going to Belize City.
Bay Islands were relatively safe. Had a friend have his dink taken, and lots of things stripped from it. An individual that lives there helped to get almost everything back.
Pretty safe as far as we were concerned. Lots of Nets (VHF & SSB) to help with any trouble spots.
Hope that helps a little. Can update sometime after January, as we will most likely hang out in the Rio and have some projects done while looking for good weather.
