has anyone posted info on replacing the gold cove stripe tape on their IP?

IP factory has the gold cove tape in 50 ft rolls

There are a few trick to removing, marking and applying a new gold stripe. The biggest is to remove the clear film once applied. If left on, this cracks and crazed and many IPs have this issue.
