Hayden,
Years ago you bought new custom step plates for Island Spirit. I cannot locate the information that identifies the vendor. I just got a quote of $360 just to re-plate my OEM step plates, which motivates me to shop for something new.

I know Jeff Gabor of IP 35 LUCILLE had some custom stainless steel step plates made here is the email on the information:

copy of what Jeff said
We had them made by local guys at BenCo Technology bencotechnology.com/. We dealt with Allen Petersheim from there This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We went with #8 stainless steel as it has the mirror finish and I had them drill the four holes and countersink for a #8 flat head screw. The plates are 1/8” thick. Our plates are 16.5” by 3”. I also found ¼” black starboard cut to my specs online and added a ¼” all around to the plate. Here is a picture of them.

I am pretty sure this is where I got the black starboard, custom cut with routed edges. www.boatoutfitters.com/cut-to-size-black-king-starboard
