I have over the years had to replace several screws holding the stainless steel strip on the teak toe rail.
I have seen other ip's with this problem where the railing doesnt actiually match the curve of the teak, so the wcrews pop. The place is the same, by the starboard entry gate.
Anyone else experience this?

This also happens to me. I take a sliver of wood, and some epoxy and jam the wood into the old screw hole. Then when it dries, I thread the screw back into this filled hole.

Someone who owns an ip35 mentioned that the end of a zip tie works really good also. He just places the appropriate sized end of a zip tie and then installs the screw.
