Dodger and Bimini, Who?

Who do I go to to get a dodger/Bimini/enclosure for Otter? Out rear solar mounts will require a custom design.

My understanding is that canvas work such as what you are looking for was handled by a canvas shop close to the IP dealer where the boat came from. In the case of our boat the dodger was built by a custom canvas shop in western NY. I would suggest locating the IP dealer nearest your location and asking them where they go?

Home port for our IP37 Windragon has been St Petersburg since 1998. The original Bimini/Dodger and complete canvas enclosures have been on the boat since that time. We just installed custom enclosures plus new canvas Bimini/Dodger cover in Summer 2014.
As Hayden has mentioned, this is an expensive undertaking. The job is completely custom, and the devil is in the details. In our case, because the original installation had done so well over time, we went back to the original installer and had them make the new set for us. They are based in St Petersburg and are very familiar with the IP boats and the small tricks that make the full enclosures work. Fit and finish is critical. The maker has to be available to make the small adjustments and corrections necessary. In our case, the installers had sewing equipment and hardware at the dock to get things perfect.

We installed Stratoglass for the front panels on the Dodger including a full cover. The side and back walls are Eisenglass with full zippers and cutouts. WE also have mosquito netting walls.

We milked our 2001 Lippincott Canvas full enclosure to its final fling this past season. The strataglas is still in good shape thanks to careful handling and regular maintenance. We replaced a few zippers and most of the stitching over the years, but the Sunbrella eventually became threadbare. Overall it served us very well! We have commissioned Lippincott Canvas to build a replacement using our original as a pattern. We expect to be equally satisfied with this encore production. No affilliation.
