Dodger Installation was created by cat30
Having a dodger installed soon on my IP31 #192. Wondering if best to screw into deck or whether it should be thru bolted- if thru bolted any helpful info would be appreciated.

Thanks
Don

Don:
On our IP35, the Dodger frame is bolted into the aft end of the teak hand rail. This is the pivot point for the two bow if we want to lay it down forward. This seems to work well and it is an easy spot to mount the frames. All the rest is just snaps or "lift a dots" fittings into the fiberglass to snap down the canvas. We do have the side SS hand rails that mount outside and into the two bows making them stiff. To lay down the canvas (which we never do) these handrails have to come off.
