On the "slab reefing", also known as "jiffy reefing" there are two reef lines as in your picture. There should also be what is called a shuttle cock - two pairs of blocks that run inside the boom. As you reef you should pull both reef lines together.
One thing I notice on your pictures, which I think is incorrect. The red line that goes from the end of the boom, up through the first reef point, should dead-end directly back down on the boom in-line with where the aft reef point (grommet) should be on the boom. But, in your pictures, it goes through three additional grommets. Those three grommets are actually intended for three separate short lines to tie the loose folds to the boom after you have set your reef point. They are not intended for the type of load induced on the sail when reefed - they are simply tidying up tie downs (think sail ties when you douse/drop your mainsail).
Your green reef lines should be attached to the second reef points. The reason you pull both sets of reef lines even if only setting the first reef point is to avoid the shuttle cock inside the boom from getting fouled (tangled in loose line).
Hope this helps.
