Mast Head Sheaves was created by Carl D
I’m getting ready to replace the mast head sheaves on our IP380.  It would be great if someone could save me a trip up the mast with a pair of calipers!  Does anyone know what sheaves are needed?  Alternatively, does anyone know the axel size and sheave diameters?

Thanks in advance!  I love this IP community!

I don't know but check the Rig-Rite site for a parts list or diagram. You'll have to know exactly which mast you've got, but it's pretty easy to figure out on the Rig-Rite site. Also, the IP factory should be able to help. Good luck. ML

If you have the furling main,  then you have a Sparcraft F-760E mast  that you will  find on the RigRite.com site - www.rigrite.com/Spars/Sparcraft_Spars/F-...sts/F-0760E_mast.php

The top of the mast parts are the same as non-furling masts of that size and are listed as part of FM-740 masts on RigRite. These parts per RigRite  differ depending if the mast was extruded in France or US. I believe our masts were US extruded by then Charleston Spar in NC, thus you can study RigRite parts for yours. Dave Lively in NC was good tech support for Charleston Spar (part of French company) before their many bankruptcies and new corporate alignments - he survived with the  new French Sparcraft, but  still in NC. Track him down and reward him with a Holiday bonus.
