Holding tank vent foul smell

Holding tank vent foul smell was created by jfhotard
Every time I pump my head a foul smell comes from the holding tank vent. Has anyone installed an activated charcoal vent filter to correct the problem? If there is anyone with an IP380 who has had experience with this, I would appreciate learning where you installed the filter.

I have installed the filter and it seems to have done the trick. I am not sure where the vent is on your boat but mine is near where the access panel is for installed electronics. Removing the panel gave me access to the vent hose and I was able to install it there. I have an IP 35.
