Lewmar hatch screen/shade

Greetings, the screen/shades for the Lewmar hatches on my IP485 have grown old and weary and I was going to replace, but on removal of the wood frame I can’t tell how these bits are fastened in. I’m afraid I need to remove the entire hatch to replace the shade. Has anybody else tackled this yet?
