Thank you. Now that I am on the boat, I was able to get the make/ mode of the struts. However, because we have a custom mattress, I found that Atwood's 80 lbs struts are required.
Hi Paul, on our IP380 the hatch lifts much more easily if we lift up the aft end of the mattress. This lets the end stay above the lip and not push hatch back down. You may be doing this, but it took us several years to discover this simple procedure for easier lift and stay up.
