Porthole Knobs for IP 380

Does anyone know where I can get some of those black plastic knobs that are attached to the porthole screw closures? I tried asking the IP Sales Dept on-line but no reply.....maybe I have the wrong email address? I need about ten knobs to be sent to Queensland Australia.

Hi MIke - Try Maine Depot Direct - link below. These are the same make as portlights for IP380 and most others. (They may have supplied IP - not sure on that.) Link below is for replacement knobs. I think they will work. Not sure about sending to AU -

Many thanks for that Shawnee...looks like exactly what I need....however when I tried to order some knobs the website said it could not get a postal quote for me, so it would not allow me to proceed with my order......oh well. I'll think of something.

I would call them directly - take out a Skype account if you do not already have one. If that fails, could consider buying them with shipping to me and I forward them.

Hi Harry,

That is very kind of you, but I don't think it will be necessary. I tried to place my order on the website again and for some reason it was accepted this time, so I should now hopefully get my porthole knobs.

Just have a few things to do to improve "Island Girl 1" before my wife Karen and I head off in May for the annual Aussie yacht migration northwards up the coast, visiting many of the islands inside the Great Barrier Reef. This also coincides perfectly with the massive migration of thousands of Spem Whales that head north each year from Antarctica to breed along the Queensland coast where the waters are warm and sheltered.
