IP-31 cabin lights was created by Bill Sloan
I have a 1985 IP-31 and most of the interior lights are getting pretty bad, mostly I think the switches have worn out and looking to replace all of them with something that will cover the same hole. I think there are about ten lights screwed to the walls. Want to use LED bulbs in the new lights. any suggestions, thanks Bill Sloan S/V Resolute, Hudson Florida

I have had the same issue with my 86 IP 31. I removed the light and cleaned the switches painted the reflectors a flat white and replaced the bulbs with LED s from Superbright LED an on line vender. The bulbs were single contact in the 2700 range. I am very happy with the results. Cost , amount of light and power needs to light up the interior..
