Older styled Bomar Cast Aluminum Port Light Gasket was created by powersht2k

Hi all! Looking forward to another great new England season - but first - really need to re-gasket all my port lights.

For those of you with Pre-1988 boats, what gasket material have you used for the Cast Aluminum Bomar Ports? There's two sizes that I've seen - 1/2" and 9/16" for sale for ports similar to these, but at great expense (would be approaching $500 for all 13 ports!!!)

I'm afraid I do not have the information but I am contacting a guy by email who I believe has done that. Once I get a reply from him I'll let you know and post it here. It may be a few days as he is cruising and I am working.

Figured it out - wouldn't you know it - the OEM is the only source for the gasket material.
If anyone is looking for it, talk to Claire at Pompanette (Parent company of Bomar) 603-826-5791.

I know I can't be the only one with leaky ports!
