I am trying to make a decision to install a 3.5kw gen and right now I am a bit stalled out, any good placement suggestions? my starboard aft locker is currently a great storage space and also houses the compressor for the fridge. Are there any IP35 folks with a built in generator? I would like it to have enough juice to start the A/C in the summer, otherwise I can do power management no problem. But hate to lose the space, plus I am questioning if I'll be able to service anything once the generator is in place. Thanks in advance.
PS just got done sailing from Malta to Dubai through the Suez so if anyone needs fairly recent observations...(too bad it was on a motor yacht, but still pretty awesome, I'd still be there if I was on the Boo Box) B
