I did a re built of my refrige mine on our IP 40. I took it out to the hull. I kept very few measurements. From the spread sheet I had at the time, I estimated the net finished volume between 9.5 and 10 cubic feet, It is insulated with five inches in the bottom, and 4 on the sides, and 4 inches in the top and door. When I replaced the top, I put built a double seal large single door. I have used an air cooled adler barbour supper cold machine with their largest horizontal evaporator freezer. I have a small 1" computer fan mounted in a 1" pvc pipe to move the cool air from the bottom of the box to the top, it runs all the time. The evaporator freezer is mounted on the right side of the box longitudinally. I built a drawer to slide into the horizontal evaporator. The box has a mid level shelf with three removable lexan panels. It has 11" of vertical clearance on the top shelf and about the same below. We keep it at 37 degrees. Because of the fan it is 37 degrees from the bottom to the very top. The freezer freezes. We make Ice for adult beverages by laying 2 quart zip lock bags with water on top of the evaporator, and then breaking up the ice with an ice pick on our cutting board, and then throw the bags away. Works neat, no trays. When it is between 80 and 95 degrees out siz and the water temp is 80+ I estimate that we use about 60AH a day. i.e. a 50% duty cycle. It may be less than that.
