I've anchored and taken a mooring. The anchorage has good holding but is a hike to the dinghy dock. when entering the harbor turn to port a C13 and head past the mooring field I anchored in 10 to 12 feet and never saw the depth go below 9 feet. The only caution is that wind and current can make your boat ride strangely,facing into the wind with your rode under your boat. I took a mooring the second time I was there as there was a crazy person on 400 feet of chain chasing everyone away. I woke the next morning to see he sailed right up onto the beach.
