Looking for operating and service manual for a Whitlock Steering System on a 2000 Island Packet 350. I believe it is a Cobra (but the Cobra I've seen does not match the pedestal that is on my boat).
Yesterday, for some reason the steering developed a creaking noise (binding noise when something is not greased). I believe it is coming from the pedestal. I searched the forum for Whitlock and nothing came up.
Also, has anyone done complete disassembly of the pedestal? Any pix would be appreciated. I contact Lewmar since I was told Lewmar bought Whitlock and still waiting for an answer.
