Peacekeeper is currently in St Thomas with engine problems. A mechanic came onboard today and has declared that it dropped a valve and the easiest solution would be to replace the cylinder head and gasket kit. As this is a very old engine I’m finding it difficult to source. Tried Alfred (recommended some years ago by Hayden) but he is off to Brazil.
Any ideas of where to source? Would it make more sense to replace entire engine with something more modern? And if so what model should I look for on a 1989 Island Packet 35?
