Fuel gauge on IP380 was created by PJ
I have recently bought a 2004 IP380 in the UK.  I could not find a fuel gauge, but by analogy with the water tank gauge, it seems to be fitted with a Rochester magnetic gauge, although the dial is missing.  The water gauge is a 5-1793 dial.  Does anyone know if the same dial might have been fitted originally?  No reference to a fuel gauge in the user manual. I attach a photo of the water tank dial as well as the fuel tank, with no dial, but a similar fitting. Any help or advice much appreciated!

The fuel gauge is a Rochester Sensor 8200 Marine Series. You can remove the old one by obtaining a large socket (maybe 2 1/4"?) and twisting it out. Measure the length and buy replacement - not expensive at least in US. When replacing treat the threads with TefGel or similar.

Thank you for the response and information. I was able to get a Rochester gauge via eBay in the US. Fitted it yesterday and works well. Rochester has a company in the UK…but measurements are all metric, so little use.
