Transmission Forward Gear failure - KBW10 / IP35 was created by Skiprboy
While in PR at Sunbay Marina I discovered I had no forward gear. Long story short the gear box was removed and the friction plates (spring) were badly worn along with a few other bits and pieces. Of course, not all of the parts can be sourced. So now looking for a reliable replacement for the KBW10. Have found one on eBay but seller does not claim serviceability and does not accept returns.  Any chance the community can offer a solution?

Our best source for rebuilt yanamar parts is ALFRED HOLTZER who does this and he will FedEx parts worldwide. YOu can see his site here, he owns a marina plus has a big engine shop.
I have sent him my old KBW10 and he would also have others.
I bought my engine from him, it is fantastic.

Did you EMAIL or CALL Alfred, because he has a KBW10, because I sent him mine. He does not keep the online website list updated. So you are better off to email him.

Alfred said he can repair your KBw10 transmission. You can FedEx or UPS this to him and he will rebuilt it and send it back. I just heard back from him. Email Alfred here:
