I have one on my IP-37 with a 3JH yanmar. It was there when I bought the boat so I can't comment on how much easier it is but I can say it works well. No leaks finger tight. You still have to change the O-ring everytime because of the design of the waterpump.

We've got one. Not sure that it has changed my life but it does make it easier to have a quick look. No need for any tools. It might vary from boat to boat. On our 38 it is quite easy to have a look in that area.

I installed one nearly 8 years ago and have been very pleased with it. It is much easier to replace the impeller in a tight area.
