Good day to all. My IP 38 water and fuel sensors have never functioned but I have been satisfied to just read the tank indicators and not worry about the gauges, which do seem to function. However, they are either all full or all empty. First, is the problem with the sensor at the tanks? Second, would both gauges be likely to malfunction the same if not? Would seem a strange coincidence. Third, if I need new sensors and float systems, where can they be purchased? Forth, are there special sizes, other than the tank depth that I should look for? My tanks are approximately 12 1/2 inches deep. The float mechanisms at Defender do not seem to be sending units. I'm fairly electronics challenged but I seem to get by with the basics! This project seems to fit on my side of the 80/20 % rule! Thanks for any assistance to all who can provide it. Connie

Those gauges may be hard to come by but call Tammy at E Components: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 800-640-1556.

She helped us with our sender issues. As the boat wiring is also involved in how well the gauges function, some trouble shooting their might be in order.
