Quick question: What should the oil pressure be as soon as you start the engine? We have a yanmar 3JH2E.
Just replaced our oil pressure gauge and it immediately jumps to 65 at startup. I was under the impression it would slowly climb to around 40. Does the pressure come down as the engine warms up or should it rise slowly as pressure builds?
