My old factory installed Autohelm 6000 course computer has failed and Raymarine won't even touch it. The drive system is okay and I'd like to save some money by finding a compatible autopilot that will allow me to keep it. What are some of the autopilot options other older IP-31 owners have found to be substitutes? Thanks

Thanks for the tip and the photos of your installation. I have finally taken delivery of the Raymarine X-30 corepack that I am told is compatible with my IP factory installed drive system. Expensive but solid. This took almost 7 months waiting for Raymarine to begin manufacturing this component after it went out of production in 2009. Will install and sea-trial this week.
