I recently purchased a Packet Cat myself. Still working out the bugs but overall very pleased with the boat. I was fortunate enough to get a boat with a quality A/C installation. Our stateroom and forward salon supply air is provided by a system in the aft end of the delta-pod. The aft salon and head supply is provided by two air handlers (port and starboard) connected to a compressor that is accessed from the port engineroom.
The salon condensate drains out with the forward deck hatch drains. I have not had a chance to trace the aft unit condensate. A quick inspection indicated no overboard connection. So, I'll probably see if I can tie into a locker or cockpit drain if possible.
You have to be careful with condensate drains because they can become a a source for unconditioned returned air to be drawn in from the outside. When installing new A/C units, we make sure there is a form of P trap in the condensate line to prevent this.
Hope this helps. Glad to meet another IP 35 Cat owner!
