A single row of LED indicators on our 1995 IP37 power distribution panel went dim late last year. They would illuminate, but the salon had to be darkened to know they were on. In our case on the 120-volt panel, the battery charger circuit was very dim, making us uneasy that in fact the circuit wasn't being powered.
Karsten over at Island Packet pointed us to Paneltronics, who manufacture the distribution panels used on our vessel. A phone call to Paneltronics

led us to Frank Armstrong. Each Paneltronics panel is number coded. After photographing the identity tags and the panel for Paneltronics to review, they fabricated a new LED array for us. The price was reasonable and so was the turn around time.
Installation is tedious and requires some knowledge. If you are comfortable around large wire bundle layouts then, the repair-replacement is straightforward. The job took me just about 4-hours from setup to cleanup.
