Windlass wiring was created by Flyrod
My 1990 35 has never had a windlass and I am installing one.

My intention is (was) to run the 1 awg wiring to the starting battery but I cannot find a way to go the last six feet.

I have run the wires from the anchor locker back to the area by the water and gas tanks but am stymied.

Looks like I can tie in to the house battery bank at the nav station but no way to get to the starter battery.

The option, seemingly unavailable as well, is running it to the engine and connecting it to the starter motor but I cannot find a way to access it from underneath.

There is a 2 x 4 under the floor with holes for the fuel line but I cannot get to that to drill through it and there is a bulkhead down low from the quarter berth across.

I do not have a generator so I am reluctant to tie into the house bank but it appears that I have no choice.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Our windlass 1 Awh runs down the entire port side to the Qtr berth then down to the battery box.
