FYI - We have a 9.8 HP Nissan 2 Stroke OB and had a problem when we took the dink out to moonhole off Bequia. The problem is that the rubber inner hub on the prop was slipping giving the symptom that the lower unit was failing.
Hub was slipping on the rubber inner part of the prop. Temporary solution was to drill and tap through the hub into the rubber and splined inner hub..... Three 8/32 screws and our OB is working - till we can find a new prop......
