To all,

I am asking if anyone has used a HTI Water SeaPack Emergency Desalinator (Defenders web site www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|135|2290130&id=1481919 ). I am late in asking because I just bought 8 of these for my abandon boat bag to use with the life raft.

I was getting ready to buy my third Pur06, I have had terrible luck pickling these and getting them to work + they are very hard to pump and don't make much water. I didn't think my wife could ever pump one. At any rate, I decided to try something different. I hope to never use them, but I think they would provide about 7 days of survival water for two people in a life raft.

So.......... if the consensus is that I "screwed up" I can still send them back, let me know what you all think.

Thanks,

George

George:
Like many of us, it seems like we have never seen them or used these units. I guess it would be a good thing to add to the ditch bag. They look cheap enough to toss in a few.

Thanks for finding them.
