Howdy all,
And a happy thanksgiving to our American friends. We are getting ready for our annual escape to the south. We did in fact sail Starsinger south to San Pedro and on to Cay Kaulker, Placencia, Lvingiston and eventually Texan Bay Guatemala in January/February of this year. Starsinger has been alongisde at Texan Bay marina since then.

We will head back in December to pick up the boat and sail her back up behind the reef off Belize. Time to do a little gunkholing rather than voyaging ( coastal cruising some would say).

Have to make a few changes this time. Looking to install a windlass to make anchoring less of a wrestling match. Age and health no longer allow me to pretend I am 18.

We spend out summers sailing our Macgregor 26X on local lakes in far northern Ontario. She is the right boat for that job. This past In September I got a nice hit of crusing when I helped friends sail their Spencer 42 Cutter Auxiliary from BC to San Fransisco. Good times, good food and we got to play some good music along the way.

We have to come back in January for a little bit, but I think I may head back for a longer stay, perhaps a trip out to Roatan or that direction.

Cheers and fair winds to all.
