What a trip north, what a dream sail we all are having. The IP fleet heading to MAINE, 2009 rocketed down the Delaware Bay from the C&D canal with 25-30 knots NW, and then yesterday, we sailed close hauled from Cape May NJ to Atlantic City with North winds. Now we pulled out of Atlantic City at 0600 and we are sailing close hauled along the NJ coast in 15 knots N winds.

The trip from Atlantic City, NJ to Sandy Hook/Atlantic Highlands is 80 miles. The winds are N predicted to move NE and get lighter. The low pressure up north is large and has been hitting the NE for a week. Lucky for us, this ocean is calm and eventually will require a motor...
