IPYOA Forum Subscriptions

I have added a NEW link onto the FORUM tabs that says.....EDIT MY FORUM SUBSCRIPTIONS. This will allow you tyo UNSUBSCRIBE to a topic of all topics. See the link here:

Note:
When you post into this forum, it will subscribe you to your own post. This way when someone replies to your post, the forum emails you and tells you there was a reply. The same think happens to any post that you participate in, if you post about the topic and participate, then the system will email you when new posts are added to that discussion. This is very nice because you do not have to go looking for info, it is sent to you when it is added.

To prevent this from happening. You can UNCHECK the subscribe button/checkmark when you are posting. You will see this at the bottom of the form when you are making a post. So you have control to unsubscribe when you participate.

I have no idea why you just now started receiving emails from IPYOA, but it seems to working as built. Agree, it does save you time when the system emails you of any topics you are subscribed to. I prefer that.

One interesting aspect is, that you can subscribe to an entire section or forum. For example: if you want to follow all the Bahamas postings then at the bottom of that forum there is a SUBSCRIBE button. Click that, and then when a NEW topic gets posted about the Bahamas, you will be sent an email with the information. PERFECT!
