NEW WEB SERVER for IPYOA!

Today, May 1, 2011, IPYOA has been moved to the #1 Joomla web host in the world: ROCHEN.com
The need for the site move was due to speed and slowness issues back on the GoDaddy.com servers. GoDaddy is great for small projects with few users, but when a site like this grows with many users and supports photo uploading, document sharing, forums, and videos, it needed to be a dedicated Joomla focused web hosting company, and that it is Rochen.
Rochen hosts the Joomla.org world community with over 200,000 users, so I am sure they can do a fine job with our IPYOA community.
You should notice better speeds and less lag with page loads. So far I have moved 7 web sites into Rochen and I am VERY IMPRESSED.
To move this site, I had to pack up all the files, all the pages into a ZIP file, then download that from GoDaddy to my local hardrive. Then on the new server I had to make an account with enough storage to hold this site, and also make a new MySQL database. Then with the site and the database packed up, I had to upload this into the new server and unpack it and install the old database into the new database.
After restoration into this new server, I had to go back to GoDaddy and move the IPYOA.com domain name off GoDaddy and into this new Rochen server. The nameservers had to be updated and this can take up to 24 hrs to populate around the world into all ROOT domain servers. After the domain was moved in, then I had to update the APIs for the Google Maps, and the Facebook login to work on the new server.
Testing of each app was then tried, and one glitch was found in the Document library where the reference to the 100+ documents was wrong. I updated that in the doc configuration app and all docs came back!
So....it looks like we lost no data....it looks like the move went well. I am sure there will be a few small glitches, but overall....I AM THRILLED with this new server!!!!

WITHIN 24 HRS.....EVERYONE SHOULD SEE HOME!
