Todd:
I saw that when it happened and I could never find out any more information.
One item this alerts me to is, that we all need to get into our sail lockers or cut an access panel in the stern and LOOK AT our cockpit drains. These will almost always have cuts and tears in the bottom bends where they bend from vertical to horizontal to the stern. This bottom of the hose cant be easily seen. Then when motoring offshore these cockpit hoses are under water and they leak water back into the bilge. Bottom line, we all need to replace the cockpit drain hoses from original as they most likely will have an issues after many years. To test your own, just run water into the cockpit and then get into the sail locker and look at the the cockpit hoses to see if they are leaking.
I hope we can find out what happened here with this IP.
Thank you for asking and sharing the link.
