Refinish external teak was created by Captdds
Has anyone used the sickens cetol marine light and then coat with the gloss? Or is better to use regular cello and then coat with gloss or not? I am open to suggestions. Captdds

I tried Cetol Natural with Gloss overcoat and the Gloss kept bubbling up. Took it off and used Epiphanes Gloss. Later redid that with a product called Tuffshield which is really good.

I've used Cetol regular for 10 years and am happy with it. Tried Cetol natural teak last season and it weathered unevenly. The manufacture recommendation is 3 coats Cetol regular then one of gloss. Apparently the thickness is important. After that, just a touch up coat every season.
