Florida to NZ was created by moonbeam
Moonbeam (IP485-008) will be departing our home in Marco Island, Fl. in early January 2013, with the destination of Opau, NZ prior to November (start of the monsoon season). Our float plan is as follows:

Jan/Feb. Florida to Panama with a stop in the River Dolce Guatamala
Feb. canal crossing
Mar/May Panama / Marquesas / Tumotos / Tahiti
May/Aug. Tahiti / Cook Islands / Samoa / Tonga / Fiji
Aug/Sept cruise Fiji
Late Sept. Fiji to NZ

The crew will consist of "blue water" experienced sailing friends on the legs to Panama, the leg from Panama to Tahiti, and then the last leg from Fiji to NZ. My wife Lil and various cruising friends will be on Moonbeam from May to December island hopping from Tahiti to Fiji.

We plan to leave Moonbeam in NZ until March 2014, and then complete the circumnavigation.

Hello Moonbeam, we saw you moored two boats over from us in Marmaris, Turkey. No one was aboard but when you return to the boat, and we would like to meet you if you are planning to do some sailing around this area before moving on.
We are Frank and Barbara Gladney aboard s/v Destiny, an IPY 485 from Houston Texas.

Hello Ken and crew,

Good to see you made it through the North Indian Ocean / Red Sea / Suez, hopefully unscathed. We look forward to reading about it in the Packeteer in due course (please let us know where and when it is published).

Best wishes from Tasmania (where we are based for the Southern Hemisphere winter)
