Miami to Exumas routing was created by hayden
Looking for East Trade Winds to move to the South. Leaving Miami for the Exumas, Bahamas is a 2-3+ day run heading mostly EAST, so going into East Trade Winds is a no go. When a storm crosses the NE, PA, NJ, VA, etc. then the advancing cold front pulls these trades to the south, then SW, then NW then North strong winds. So, we wait for a storm up north then play this timing run with the winds hoping to get far east BEFORE the strong NW, N winds kick in and before the 20 knot East trades return.

It is a real weather routing challenge. We are on the launch pad waiting....These pics show the route and then winds Mon, Tue Wed. Wed you can see the trades set back in, so no Easting then.
