PLEASE NOTE: Please note that the boat is located in the French West Indies: St. Barthélemy/St. Martin FWIBeautiful, sturdy, and comfortable boat.
The standing rigging was completely replaced in 2017, including the 316 stainless steel chain plates. Everything is well-built and sturdy!
Sails are in good condition and were serviced this year.
Hydrovane 2026 windvane steering system—the reliable and tireless helmsman!
2018 Yanmar 54 hp engine, 939 hours; highly efficient MaxProp propeller, even in reverse.
Electric windlass with a 20-kg Rocna anchor and 175 feet of chain + emergency Anchor.
The cockpit is spacious, wide, and fully protected from the sun by the companionway cover, the bimini top, and a canopy connecting the two. Plus, large sunshades.
Dinghy davits; swim platform with ladder.
Aluminum-bottomed dinghy with a 15 hp Yamaha engine.
Solar panels; 2024 batteries; LED lighting; Depth sounder, anemometer, speed log; GPS with AIS, VHF
Many replacement parts (motor, displays, anodes, etc., plus tools).
Very comfortable interior with two bathrooms featuring electric toilets, a spacious aft cabin, a very high-ceilinged forward cabin, a practical galley, and a convivial saloon with plenty of room to move around.
High-quality woodwork in excellent condition, storage throughout, very pleasant to live on...
Under sail, the IP38 is surprisingly capable: well-rigged, in light winds it gets going early even with heavy sails!
