Cheri gave me one of these as a gift recently. I haven't had much chance to get familiar with it yet but we're excited about it's potential. We're thinking for starts to mount it at the end of a boat hook to get some video down by the water line and hanging over the side. Cheri also bought a 10' Delta kite with the intention of doing some cool "bird's eye view" shots of the boat underway. The first time she tried it we quickly realized there's a conflict with the wind generator mounted at the stern portside. We also want to do some video from up the mast without having to go up there ourselves. Any suggestions?
What's been your experience for the best angle/location for shots while underway? I'd like to get a location that will best convey how it feels while sailing. Our efforts at shooting video from the cockpit just don't do it.
