Where, Pelican bay anchorage,N 26.41.000--082.14.500 about a mile south of BocaGrande inlet,Cayo Costa State Park, great beach, grill pits ,park stuff. Cabbage Key (cheeseburger in paridise) a short dink ride.
Why there, a large anchorage for the hundreds of us. Midway Tampa-Naples an inside trip for east coast packeteers, via the lake. Ten miles east Burnt Store marina, full service nice restaurant,fuel, pump out laundry showers.Dock master941-637-0083
