Cutlass bearing replacement

Before trying to remove the stuffing box to drive the cutlass out from inside - or before removing the stern tube to press out the cutlass - Maybe you will get lucky like I was and be able to remove the cutlass the easy way in 5 minutes.
I simply drilled a small 3/32" hole into the brass of the cutlass, and then ran a small #6 machine screw into the hole - and then pulled on the screw with channel locks and pulled the cutlass out.
It certainly is worth a try as it takes only a few minutes but can save hours and hours of labor.
