We replaced the original bilge pump and float switch in our IP35-165, 1994 model with a new Rule 2000 pump and the ultra float switch. We raised the float switch up a little to allow for the back wash that drains back after the pump shuts off. The discharge line we ran directly over the prop shaft and directly to the stern. We did add a loop up from the stern and then down to the bilge.
