I wanted to add a small footprint PC with multiple serial and USB ports for boat navigation and email as a replacement for our Laptop PC. Intended to build one but went instead with a nice mini-ATX system from IslandTimePC. Also added a wireless mouse, small foot print keyboard and a 12volt LCD display. System has 4 serial ports, 6 USB ports and 2 ethernet ports and a built in DVD RW Drive.
