A Xantrex Prowatt 1000W inverter is shown installed. The inverter is mounted in the lazarette, close to the house bank where the power feed is about 3 feet. A remote control for the inverter and hardwired outlet are located above the trash bin in the galley. The system is entirely independent of the shorepower 110 v system. The outlet was sourced from an RV supply and is designed for minimal clearance behind---which allows mounting in the small space in front of the sink bowl.
