Lanyards
Making lanyards for snapshackles etc. is a simple project to do while waiting for the snow to melt. Here's how:1. Use 550 Nylon Paracord: two pieces 5/32” x 5’2. Place both pieces through the ring ding on the snapshackle in an X shape and tie the first crown knot around the ring ding.3. Tie ten crown knots to build up the lanyard, tightening as you go.4. Finish with a wall knot. Tighten and roll so the wall knot sits on top of the last crown knot.5. Hold the four ends together and tape about 6” from wall knot. Whip the four ends together close to the wall knot. Cut off the excess ends with a hot knife.
