Monarch IP45 last haul out Weed Shoe Repairs
Before our departure for Hope Town, Bahamas we had our vessel haul for her last inspection for bottom side in the USA. We discovered the skeg was loose after removing the skeg we found that two welds were cracked. I was surprise that the skeg assembly box was only welded on each corner for about 4inches. We had our skeg refurbish including having the whole assembly welded the whole length from one end to the other.
We had the vessel name painted on the Port & Starboard side close to the bow.
Hull sanded and repainted with 2 1/2 coats.
Anode installed on the skeg.
