Monarch upgrade turn key project

Sunday - October 25, 2015Views: 926Taken at Clear Lake, Texas
This turn key project with Y.E.S. Yacht Equipment Service Centers, LLC. 828C Marina Bay Dr.
Keman, TX 77565 was one of the most costly projects I had carried out by a contractor installation of Furuno Nav Net 3 D and keeping my Raymarine E120 as a back up. It was very difficult and burdensome plus time consuming. I'm paying in cash $14,000 starting of the project and the outstanding once the project was completed. They couldn't comprehend why I wanted two radars, two wind sensors, two smart depth speed sensors, two charter plotters were just some of the issues not including stepping the mast new donut and booth, lighting in the mast, underwater lighting, lighting in cockpit, on arch & dinghy davits. New through hulls replacing the old with backing plates they didn't want to do the backing plate but it was done. Even before the project was start it was agreed that they could do the job as I wanted. To make a long story short they never did finish what was required in a timely manner, it finish off with the manager of YES almost coming to blows with me because I fired him and everybody else on the job. His issue was it was costing him to much money for the turn key agreement. After all was said and done I didn't have to pay the last five thousands that was due… I'm a Master in the U.S Merchant Marine working on salvage vessels over in South East Asia (Singapore) up to 100meters in length 3,000tons. I'm use to having everything in double when it comes to navigation.
