Genset Installation
This is a Northern Lights 6kw genset with a sound enclosure going into an IP420. We wanted to use the space directly below the cockpit floor, just aft of the engine/transmission. Because of the location of the rudder post we'll have to bump out the bulkhead a few inches around the opening. I don't think that will interfere too much with the bunk and we'll have the mattress re-cut to fit around it. We're mounting the genset on a pull out shelf to make maintenance easier and installing an oil transfer pump that will serve both the genset and the engine. The installation is being done by Hinckley Yachts in Whitehall, Maryland.Tom WardIP420-35
